Yes, this is an update. Yes, I am awake ridiculously early. Yes, I am attempting to do a Melbourne Shuffle. No, not right now.
Right, anyway. Hello, gents, watchers, ladies, deviants and people who occasionally check my page for any updates. It's about time I actually wrote a journal, isn't it? Last time I wrote one, it was... May? I can't really remember. Anywho, recent updates on the past several months (half a year, shhhhh):
- Finally finished college. Yes, it was a pain in the ass. Yes, it was overly painful to finish. And yes, I did only manage to get a decent result. So, all-in-all: Profit. For the years I spent at college, I did actually enjoy most of it (notice the most) and thoroughly tried to get the work done. I have difficulties asking for help, so I did suffer with mainly doing the work by myself, and only when the tutors came over to me to help did I actually get anywhere. Now I'm done, most of the people I met in the course I did are now in University and I'm now sitting here. Job hunting...
- In terms of hobbies and anything. LARP. Yes, let's talk about probably one of the nerdiest hobbies under the sun. That comes before pen'n'paper role-play on the nerd scale. Sadly, the previous journal mentioned my character being a Skathen, which ended really quickly upon the actual event. The kit just, really, made it impossible to breathe properly, so I was unable to do so. The character got killed off very quickly due to this, and I'm content, as are most of my friends who supported me in it (and helped me to my feet when I was found coughing loudly) at the time. Either way, a hobby is a hobby. Health always comes before it. At the current moment in time, though, I am now playing a Fae/Fey/Fay (take whatever spelling of it you want) called Shio. Was interesting my first event. Got a lovely daemonic and angelic soul rammed into Shio, so.. The best way to describe it is Daemonhood for 40k and... Being eternally damned for anything else.
- Over the Autumn months I had my bedroom redecorated. It needed it. So badly. It hasn't changed since I was 3, so it was nice to have a new room. A lot cleaner. And able to clean it is a nice touch as well. Carpets are bitches to hoover. So yeah. My end of the world is now different and nicer to live in. Both are a positive.
- 2012. Yes. I shall celebrate you with a complimentary drink of something alcoholic. I shall do the same when the Earth apparently explodes.
- Anything else, well.. Not really, no. Still a freak of nature. Still play card games, computer games, run around in a field dressed like a spoon while hitting people with foam swords, sitting at home in the dark listening to EBM, Heavy Metal and Classical music while grinning all the while. And breaking my body clock. Can never seem to fix the thing.
All-in-all... Thank you, 2011. A decent year gets a decent send-off. May you be the best year of them all.
